ABOUT DFOA
What is Drums For One And All?
Dave Curry is the creator of DFOA, the name he uses for the many drumming related events that he has been involved in since starting his first public drum circle in 2001. For more than a decade, Dave C. has expanded his drumming activities to include drum circle facilitation, workshop leadership, festival organization, worship service leadership, public and private teaching, and drum repairs.
DFOA is motivated by three basic intentions:
1) to support and sustain the local community of drummers and dancers
2) to offer educational opportunities for both youth and adults
3) to provide positive cultural experiences that are fun, engaging and accessible to people of all ages and skill levels
DFOA is not a profit-generating enterprise. Any money earned from drumming events is used to add to, upgrade or maintain the collection of instruments that Dave C. shares with the people who attend DFOA events or classes.
Event Notices and Cancellations
Although this rarely happens, DFOA events may be canceled or rescheduled for major holidays or serious storms. Cancellations or schedule changes will be posted on this website and also sent to the DFOA mailing list.
